Course Description:

This course is designed to meet the industrial qualification requirements for Eddy Current Examination. This examination is used to locate surface and subsurface discontinuities in conductive materials. The method is also capable of detecting changes in size, dimension, or conductivity of the test part. This method is used to locate discontinuities including inherent, processing, and service discontinuities. The training covers basic theory, test principles, products, equipment operation and stanardization, safety operating procedures, applicable techniques, applicable specifications, codes and written instructions used by the employer an dinterpretation of idnications. This course satisfies the training hours needed for Level II certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, CP-189 and NAS 410, revision 2.

  1. Classes are occasionally scheduled to accommodate the requirements of the first few students. If you have a special time period desired for a class, we can schedule the class to meet your needs then post a schedule to try to fill the class with other students.
  2. Ask about group or multiple class discounts.
  3. We would like at least five (5) people minimum for each class. If there are less than five (5) people, the class may be re-quoted accordingly.
  4. We will be glad to quote a price on training at your facility. This cost is calculated on location and size of class.
  5. Payment Terms: Tuition is payable two weeks prior to the first day of the course. Fees usually include textbooks, handout materials, course tests and course completion certificate. Payment may be made by check payable to "Quality Testing Services" or by credit card (MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted). You may pay for your course at the time of enrollment or defer payment up to the two week deadline. A $10 processing fee will be added to all payments made on a deferred basis.
